We start creating Rawrztoys by making some sketches of a design, the design is then taken into a 3d modeling program and modeled in 3d. It's then printed out on a 3d printer (currently we use a Form 1 for prototypes) Once we are happy with the 3d print, it is cleaned up (sanded and buffed) and molded as a gang mold (instead of 1 toy a group of 4-5 is molded as one.) We use silicone to create our molds, using a jewelers cut to open them. We then inject liquid plastic (smooth-on polyurethane 300 or 325.) After it's cured the casting is opened and cleaned up (sometimes there are seam lines, where the mold splits apart, similar to the lines on a cola bottle.) We remove the seams by sanding, or clipping the plastic. Once cleaned the toy's receive a bath (to remove and remaining release), before being primered and painted. Each and every toy is handed painted, and created with nothing but love. We make all the toys, in America, specifically Northern California. All of our toys are one of a kind. We love to create many looks, and designs. We look forward to custom requests!
